And I profess before you this day that
I believe in one God,
the Father Almighty,
maker of heaven and earth,
and of all things visible and invisible;
And I believe in one Lord (Sovereign Master) Jesus the Messiah,
the only begotten Son of God,
begotten of his Father before all worlds,
God of God, Light of Light,
very God of very God,
begotten, not made,
being of one substance with the Father;
And by Jesus the Messiah all things were made;
who for us men and for our salvation came down from heaven,
and the Son of God was incarnate by the Holy Ghost of the Virgin Mary,
and was made man;
and He was crucified to take our punishment for our sins under the Governor Pontius Pilate;
So Jesus the Messiah suffered (died) and was buried;
and on the third day Jesus the Messiah rose again from the dead;
Even as it was witnessed and recorded by Holy Writings of His Apostles,
and He then ascended into heaven,
and sitteth on the right hand of the Father;
and he shall come again, with glory, to judge both the living people and those who have already died and are brought before the Judgment Seat;
whose kingdom shall have no end.
And I believe in one Master of all, God the Eternal Spirit who is the giver of life,
who proceedeth from both the Father and the Son;
who in addition to the Father and the Son is also worshipped and glorified;
(In the same manner that people worship the Father and the Son, they also worship and praise God the Spirit)
who spake to mankind through the inspired Words of His Jewish Prophets and Apostles.
And I believe one holy Universal (Catholic) and Apostolic Church (Assembly of His Followers) appointed and established by Jesus Himself;
[I acknowledge the supreme authority of the Old and New Testament to guide the life of the Assembly of Believers and every Christian.]
I acknowledge one baptism which is a symbol of forgiveness of sins and new life within;
and I look forward to the Day of the resurrection of the dead,
and the life of the new world to come when Messiah shall reign over all forever. AMEN.
